Hidden in the mountains of Juayúa along the famous Ruta de las Flores, the 7 Cascadas hike is one of the most thrilling waterfall treks in El Salvador. The adventure also includes a guided rappel 30 meters down on the third waterfall, adding just the right amount of adrenaline to the day.

Itinerary

6:00 AM – Departure from San Salvador. Coffee ready, playlist on, adventure mode activated.
8:00 AM – Technical stop in Izalco for breakfast. Fuel for the mission.
9:30 AM – Arrival at Juayúa Central Park (in front of the church). Group registration and coordination.
9:45 AM – Short transfer (15 minutes) to the trailhead.
10:00 AM – Start of the 7 Cascadas jungle trek. Approximate hiking time: 5 hours with guided support.
1:00 PM – Waterfall rappel activity. Safety equipment and guidance provided.
3:00 PM – Lunch break. Time to recover, relax, and tell the story of how you didn’t slip (too much).
4:30 PM – Return to San Salvador. Windows down, jungle memories unlocked.
