    Itinerary

    • 5:00 AM – Departure from San Salvador. Early road, mountain views ahead.
    • 8:00 AM – Arrival at Montecristo National Park entrance. Quick check and preparation.
    • 8:30 AM – Arrival at Planes de Montecristo. Fresh air and start of the forest experience.
    • 9:00 AM – Begin hike toward Hondurita River through cloud forest trails.
    • 11:00 AM – Arrival at Hondurita River. Time to relax, swim, and enjoy the forest.
    • 12:20 PM – Return hike to Planes de Montecristo.
    • 1:00 PM – Free lunch time and rest.
    • 1:45 PM – Walk to the Garden of 100 Years.
    • 2:45 PM – Free time to explore viewpoints and forest surroundings.
    • 4:00 PM – Return to San Salvador.
